Who we are and what this Site is

PlantAppsReviews.com is an independent editorial website that compares plant care and plant management apps. We publish ratings, prices, feature overviews and a ranking, with particular attention to apps that fund tree planting and forest protection.

We are not the developer, seller or support channel for any app listed here. We cannot fix a problem inside an app, restore a subscription or issue a refund — those requests must go to the app's publisher or to the app store you bought from.

Accepting these terms

By accessing the Site you confirm that you have read and accept these terms, that you are legally able to enter into a contract, and that you are not a minor in your jurisdiction. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you accept these terms for that organisation as well.

If you do not agree with these terms, please stop using the Site.

Editorial independence, ratings and disclosure

Ratings, rankings, pros and cons are our opinions, formed from our own review of each app at the time of writing. They are a consumer guide, not a guarantee that an app will suit your plants, your device or your expectations.

Some links are affiliate links and we may be compensated if you subscribe through them; where a relationship exists, it is disclosed on the page or in the footer. No publisher can pay for a position in the ranking, and no publisher is shown a rating before it is published.

No professional advice

Content on the Site is general information about software. It is not horticultural, agricultural, veterinary, legal, tax, financial or medical advice.

Plant care depends on species, climate, light and local rules, so check a reliable source or a qualified professional before you act on anything you read here.

Accuracy and availability

App prices, free tiers, feature lists and store ratings change constantly and are often region-specific. We date every review and try to keep figures current, but we do not warrant that any price or rating on the Site is accurate at the moment you read it — always confirm the price in the app store before you buy.

The Site is provided without any uptime promise. We may change, suspend or withdraw a page, a ranking or the whole Site at any time, and we may correct mistakes we become aware of.

App screen images, names and logos

App names, logos, store marks and related imagery remain the property of their respective owners and are used on the Site only to identify the apps under discussion. No sponsorship, endorsement or affiliation is implied by their use, and no licence to download or reuse them is granted.

Your conduct

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not scrape, copy in bulk, resell or republish our reviews and comparison tables, or present them as your own work; you may quote a short extract with a link back to the original page.

Search engines and AI search services may crawl our public pages in accordance with robots.txt to index them, link to them and provide attributed short excerpts. This does not grant permission to republish reviews in full or use them for model training.

You may not interfere with the Site, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system behind it, upload malicious code, or use automated tools to harvest content outside the search permissions above or place artificial load on the Site. We can limit or block access that breaches these terms.

Content you send us

If you email us a correction, a tip or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to publish and adapt it — for example to update a review, a price or a pros-and-cons list — without attribution being required.

Please do not send us confidential material or third-party personal information that you are not entitled to share.

Third-party services and links

When you follow a link to an app store, a developer's site or a payment page, you leave our control. Their terms, privacy policies and prices apply from that point.

We are not responsible for the conduct of those parties, for the apps they distribute, or for any transaction you make with them.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Site is error-free, secure or uninterrupted, or that its content is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive — arising from your use of the Site, from reliance on a rating or price published here, or from a transaction with an app publisher or store. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Indemnity

If you breach these terms, or use the Site in a way that harms a third party, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses that arise for us, including legal fees, to the extent the law permits.

Changes to these terms

We can update these terms as the Site develops. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page shows the version in force; continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of the Site is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Before starting proceedings, please contact us — most problems are resolved quickly in writing. Nothing here prevents you from using the consumer mediation or small-claims route available to you in your own country.
